6. YouTube API Services

YouParty uses YouTube API Services to provide video content functionality. When you use our service, the following applies:

  • Data Collection: We may collect and store YouTube video metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, video IDs) that you search for or add to your channels
  • Data Usage: This data is used to provide our video streaming and karaoke services, maintain your playlists, and improve our platform
  • Data Storage: YouTube video metadata is stored on our servers to enable offline playlist management and improve service performance
  • Data Sharing: We do not share your YouTube data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services
  • Data Deletion: You can request deletion of your YouTube-related data by contacting us at contacto@you-party.com or by deleting your account. We will delete all stored YouTube metadata associated with your account within 30 days of your request.
  • Access Control: You can revoke YouParty's access to your YouTube data at any time through your Google security settings. This will immediately stop YouParty from accessing your YouTube data, but stored data will remain until you request deletion.

Google Privacy Policy: By using YouParty, you also agree to the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.

Data Deletion and Access Revocation Procedures

To delete your stored YouTube data:

  1. Contact us at contacto@you-party.com with your request
  2. Or delete your YouParty account through your account settings
  3. We will delete all YouTube metadata within 30 days

To revoke YouParty's access to your YouTube data:

  1. Visit Google Security Settings
  2. Find "Third-party apps with account access"
  3. Locate YouParty and click "Remove access"
  4. This immediately stops new data access but doesn't delete stored data

7. Third-Party Services

Our platform may integrate with third-party services such as:

  • YouTube API for video content (see section 6 above)
  • Payment processors for subscription billing
  • Analytics services to understand usage patterns
  • Social media platforms for login and sharing

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
